Book launch "Sampler: Techno at the Edge of the World"/ November 2023
On a Tuesday in November 2023, 150 people gathered at the restaurant Santo Remedio for the launch of my book, Sampler. It was a lovely meeting of creators, musicians, and fans of 90s techno in Chile. Citizens or Politicians. The Treason of Sharp / August 2018
The launch of my first book was in the GAM Library, Santiago, with the assistance of eighty people. It was presented by political scientist Cristóbal Bellolio, the sociologist and former candidate for the presidency of Chile Alberto Mayol, and Francisca Garcia, doctor of literature. The event was also attended by Mónica Echeverría, a leading Chilean woman activist and writer, who wrote the prologue.
Pacto Paraíso| Citizenship education
In year 20014, together with two partners, we created Pacto Paraíso Foundation to deliver citizen education with innovative methods, to high school students. The program was carried out for two consecutive years in three public Schools of the city of Valparaíso, managing to form a group of young leaders in their school community. The curriculum was made with the collaboration of a psychologist (with expertise in ontological coach), and a social historian. New educational techniques and methods were used, derived from the practice of communicational coach, thus turning the experience into a process of experimentation and communicative play.
We have the collaboration of Dinamarca 399, a Valparaíso co-work space, and the Chilean National Institute of Human Rights.

I was involved in two versions of Mutek Chile (2003-2004) , at the Barón Pier in Valparaíso with approximately three thousand people attending. The festival was characterized by the creation of scenery and eventual architecture, in collaboration with the School of Architecture of the Technical University Federico Santa María (UTFSM). With the participation of a selection of sound artists from the experimental scene of Canada, Europe and Chile. After 20 years, Mutek is a worldwide innovator and leader in the electronic music scene.
I became part of the creation of the festival, working on institutional alliances, sponsorships, and collaborating in the general production. My involvement in Mutek was a result of my early interest in the culture of new digital media and electronic music composition, and my involvement in previous years (1999 -2000) as an assistant professor in topics around virtual communities and sociability on the Internet.
